Southeast Houston Homeless Ministry Needs Donations to Help Houston’s Homeless Recover from Catastrophic Flood

HOUSTON, TEXAS (Thursday, August 30, 2017)

Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston area, causing catastrophic flooding and impacting the lives of thousands of people. For Houston’s homeless population, the storm’s impact was felt even more so. “They who had so little have lost everything, “ says Rosie Flannigan, volunteer with Crossroads at Park Place, a homeless ministry in Southeast Houston. Donations are especially needed now, so that Crossroads can provide homeless men and women with the basics that were lost during the flood.

Financial donations can be made on their website at  In additional to financial support, Crossroads is seeking donations of clean men’s and women’s clothing, new socks and new underwear,  walking and tennis shoes, and bedding.  Clothing donations can be dropped off at Crossroads on Monday-Thursday, 7 am - 12 pm at their facility located at 3827 Broadway Street, Houston TX 77017.

Crossroads at Park Place is a homeless ministry in Southeast Houston, whose mission is to provide services that promote the health, hygiene and dignity of all persons experiencing homelessness and poverty in Southeast Houston.
