Information We Collect
This website uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views and general device information. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) through our website analytics. No login or account creation is required to use this website.
Information You Provide
Most of this website can be used without giving us anything about yourself. Two things are different, and both start with you choosing to take part:
- Donations — we record your name, email address, postal address, and the amount and date of your gift, so that we can send you a receipt for your tax records.
- Golf tournament registration — we record the registering person’s name, email address and phone number, and the name and email address of each player entered on their team. If someone else entered you onto a team, that is how your information reached us.
If you make a gift in honor or memory of someone and give us an address so that a person can be told, we store that address but we do not currently send anything to it.
Payment card details are entered on a page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. They never pass through this website, and we never see or store them.
How Long We Keep It
We keep donation and registration records indefinitely, because a charitable organization is expected to be able to account for gifts it received and events it held in past years. Records are filed by year and are used only for the year they belong to.
Removing Your Information
You can ask us to remove your personal information from our records at any time — including information that somebody else gave us about you. Email steve@crossroadsatparkplace.org. A member of our board reviews every request personally, and you do not need to give a reason.
Where the law requires us to keep a record of a payment — in our financial accounts, for example — we may need to keep that minimal record. We will tell you if that applies to your request.
Third-Party Services
Our website may link to or integrate with the following third-party services:
- Emma — for email newsletter subscriptions
- Volgistics — for volunteer registration and sign-in
- Amazon — for our wish list of needed supplies
- Stripe — for processing donations and tournament payments
- Resend — for delivering receipts and confirmation emails
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before providing any personal information.
Cookies
This website uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous usage data without using tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or any cookie-based tracking technology.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that make a payment or an email work — Stripe to process a payment, and Resend to deliver a receipt or confirmation to you. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be processed by Vercel in accordance with their privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
